For students needing more direct instruction, we offer coursework for credit. The opportunity to work on a private or semi-private basis has enabled many students who have been lost or disorganized in large classroom situations to overcome anxieties, poor study habits, or a myriad of problems facing today's high school students including medical issues. The courses follow the same syllabi requirements as the home school and/or state standards and, in some cases, District #200 Wheaton guidelines.
At times, students have taken required coursework for credit to allow them to take electives which would not be possible during the regular school year. Because of the varied qualifications and experience of our staff, options range from remedial to advanced courses such as reading, writing, math, science, and honors or AP.
